I was born & educated in England, where my father was a professional photographer. I took an early interest in photography & helped Dad after school. However he never advised that I should one day look for a "proper" job so I became a photographer as well. After graduating from Stourbridge Art College in Staffordshire, I moved to Durban on the east coast of South Africa & worked at several photographic studios, gaining valuable experience in the process.

Eventually I started my own business which went on to become one of the largest photographic studios in the city.

However my American wife Diane, wanted to return home, so in 1998, with our 2 sons we moved to the USA and I am now proud to call myself a US citizen. Living near the Rockies, I enjoy keeping fit riding my bike & camping at the many Colorado campsites.
